We opened the class with "2 Truths and a Lie" - the story-term-based homework students prepared last night. It went well, but it also showed some students that there are a few terms they need to find time to study.
Students had about 20 minutes to continue work on their Viking notes from the info package NB - To my astonishment, the package mentions Kyiv, noting the anglicized "Kiev" and says that it is in Russia. While this makes sense during the era of the Kyivan Rus empire, the students should have noted that present-day Kyiv is the Capital of Ukraine.
Students had the remainder of the block to work on their shields - These will be due on Wednesday next week.
